This is a call to all residents in Longford and surrounding villages to support please and sign the above petition.

We believe the Easterly Alternation project will make Longford village uninhabitable.

In January 2025 – we submitted a 25 page objection on behalf of residents to Hillingdon objecting to the proposed application.

This decision will now go before the committee next week. Sadly the current view is that despite material objections we’ve raised and the concerns about health, Hillingdon are suggesting the scheme should be approved.

We are due to speak to the committee on Tuesday evening and believe we have a good case to present and we hope to change the suggested outcome.

Why your signature is vital

The Council must consider the strength and scale of public concern when making planning decisions. Your signature demonstrates that this is not a small issue affecting just a few residents – it affects our entire community. Once permission is granted, it cannot be easily reversed. This is our chance to insist on evidence, fairness and proper protection for Longford.

If we fail at this stage, we’ll need around £100,000 to take our case for Judicial Review.
